DOMAINE LEFLAIVE MACON VERZE LES CHENES 19

The fruit for this wine is sourced from five parcels in the lieux-dits of Les Chênes, En Perret, Le Monté, Escolles et Les Muses where mineral rich, argilo-calcareous soils are found. The wine matures in egg shaped concrete cuves fro around 12 to 16 months retaining the purity and developing lees-driven flavours and textures.

This wine shows fresh aromas of green apple, florals, mineral notes and a plethora of citrus nuances. The palate is medium bodied and mineral-driven with great precision, leading to a dry firm finish.
