Aberfeldy offers you its selection of three of its best Single Malts through this tasting collection, in 200ml format. In this box, find these three award-winning bottlings:
- Aberfeldy 12 Year Old: unpeated and aged in oak barrels, this honeyed dram has notes of spices, vanilla and a hint of smoke.
- Aberfeldy 16 Year Old: aged in oak barrels and finished in Sherry Oloroso barrels, this expression reveals notes of honey, fruit cake and dark chocolate with a rich and enveloping finish.
- Aberfeldy 21 Year Old: this Single Malt aged in Sherry and Bourbon barrels develops notes of floral heather honey, a creamy intensity, and notes of dried fruits and toasted coconut.
Scented with spices and honeyed plump fruits this is a syrupy dram, with lots of vanilla and fudge, with a whisper of smoke on the finish.
Nose: Creamy. Some sherried fruit with a trailing hint of smoke.
Palate: Sweet, malty, a gentle peat but nonetheless the mouthfeel is very clean.
Finish: Malt, a faint hint of citrus.
A 15 year old single malt from Highland distillery Aberfeldy, part of its Red Wine Cask Collection. This limited edition bottling has been finished in cabernet sauvignon wine casks from the Napa Valley in California, aka 'wine country'. Beautifully rich, with plenty of sweet red fruit notes making their way from the wood to the whisky.
This release is part of Aberfeldy and Craigellachie's Exceptional Cask Series. This series consists of exceedingly rare single cask and double cask bottlings, each of which are hand-selected by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod and released in limited quantities. This double cask bottling was finished in sherry casks and bottled at 52%.
This double-cask bottling from Aberfeldy?s Exceptional Cask Series has a nose full of dark fruits, toffee, figs, Christmas cake, and muted spices. The taste is intense and spicy with clove, cinnamon, and black pepper notes that fade to reveal hints of Christmas cake, toffee, and a slight oakiness. Adding water tamps down the spices while bringing out fruitier notes. The finish is long with a good balance of spices and toffee sweetness.

This Twelve Year Old Aberlour has been matured in two cask types. Traditional oak and Sherry oak casks. Especially selected every year, they are filled with whisky and quietly aged for a minimum of twelve years; then the casks are married together.
Traditional oak casks encourage the subtle character of Aberlour to develop, whilst Sherry oak casks add hints of ruby gold colour and a deep and rich flavour to the whisky. A perfectly balanced single malt with notes of fruits and spices.
Non Chill-Filtered is an interesting variant on Aberlour's usual 12 year old whisky, not only changing the proportions of different whiskies that are used to make the expression, but also leaving it un-chillfiltered. This means that it retains the full body and flavour of the whisky from the cask, although it may go cloudy if water is added or it gets cold.

Soft, warm apples and a very light sprinkle of dark chocolate flakes. The palate is nutty, fruit and warming. More caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and plenty of entertaining fruit notes. Finish: Dark chocolate returns for the long finish. A great whisky for a cold evening
Stunning complex single malt from the awesome Aberlour Distillery, one of the smallest in Scotland's prolific Speyside region. This expression has enjoyed its maturation in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak casks. Dig in to all those fruity, spicy sherried notes that you're familiar with from Aberlour, paired with decadent helpings of rich, creamy vanilla. Highly ideal for somewhat chilly evenings, this one.
Nose: Big aromatics on this one with cloves, cardamom and camphor, and then comes a wave of sweeter notes like toffee, milk chocolate and orange rind.
Palate: Full texture, round and creamy, with sweet dark cherries, fudge, and mocha coffee with a refreshing minty breeze.
Finish: Quite long with lingering honey and wood spice.
Matured in two types of casks, the traditional oak and sherry oak casks and bottled at a slightly lower abv of 40% than previous editions, this 16 year old Aberlour is bursting with lush plum, raisin and even floral notes. A cracking Speyside malt.
A fruity and spicy release from Aberlour, this 16 year old has been matured in a combination of sherry butts and first-fill bourbon casks.
