A dark spiced Caribbean rum from Trinidad and Tobago. Named after a mythical sea monster, it has a cult following amongst rum drinkers. As they say at Kraken: "Put a beast in your belly". Drink it neat with an ice cube or with your favourite mixer.

Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a ?blended rum?, which means it is a combination of several rums of different styles and ages and does not have an age statement.

Perfectly balanced complex citrus, fruity and sweet notes, with subtle orange peel, dried apricot, fresh peach, and a hint of molasses and woody notes.

Bay of Islands rum, handcrafted with 100% natural spices. Carefully selected spices gives this spiced rum a smooth, natural taste with prominent notes of vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. Created for sipping straight but is equally as good in cocktails and mixers.

Sailor Jerry is a straight-up, no-nonsense rum. We craft the spirit from a selection of rums distilled in the Caribbean. Our master blenders "marry the rums to our exacting recipe, then infuse it with our one-of-kind mix of spices and other natural flavors, most notably vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. The result is high-quality, old-school spiced rum. An enduring classic, not a fly-by-night fancy. 

Nose: Intense vanilla, dry buttery toffee and subtle cinnamon notes

Taste: Warm spices of cinnamon & nutmeg with rich vanilla.  A long dry finish balanced with a subdued sweetness and a hint of burnt toffee Adding spices to rum is an old sailor's tradition.  Those first rums were crude and harsh, so seamen would blend and mix in any spices they had on hand to improve the rum's flavor.  Today the harshness is no more, but the art of spicing rum is alive and well.

Dark and delicious. STOLEN Dark reimagines the classic, traditionally heavy, naval style dark rums, with a more modern and smoother interpretation. It?s blended by hand and uses Demerara caramel for afull-bodiedd look and flavor, lightly toasted sweet caramel aromas and a soft honeyed texture in the mouth.

STOLEN Dark was awarded a gold medal at the 2013 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Chris and Elliot spent the good part of 18 months searching for the perfect oak aged Caribbean rum. Many taste tests were conducted with friends and family before finally settling on their first cask.

They then started tinkering with spicing the rum right here in New Zealand, blending the rich history of the Caribbean with the adventurous spirit of New Zealand. 

The subtle caramel sweetness of the rum with a vanilla back bone allowed the beautiful spices to come through, highlighting local citrus, nutmeg and clove.

The infusion became more refined and complex, through out lock down. And by the end they were happy with the result. Let the bottling begin!

Plantation 3 Stars is a crisp, tasty white rum made by blending spirit produced in Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados. Some of the rums in the blend are aged, though their colour is removed via a process of carbon filtration.

Nose: Hints of dried coconut and guava. A little honey too, and soft spice.

Palate: Spiced palate entry. Creamy vanilla custard, fresh sugar cane honey and even a hint of agave.

Finish: Floral finish. Zinging spices.

A mixologist favorite, Cruzan^? Black Strap Rum features robust licorice and molasses flavors that add an exotic element to your tropical favorites. Its most popular pairings include flavors such as lemon, lime, ginger and pineapple.

Good for Tiki style drinks.

Originated in 1862, Bacardi superior rum is the original, mixable light-bodied rum aged between one to two years in carefully selected oak barrels. After ageing, the rums are blended and passed through a second charcoal filtration to achieve maximum clarity and characteristic Barcardi smoothness. Barcardi Superior is clean in colour, smooth in taste and dry in flavour with impressions of vanilla and subtle aromas of almonds and tropical fruits. Its finish is dry and smooth.

Created on the banks of Demerara, our smooth and uniquely complex El Dorado aged rums represent over 300 years of Caribbean rum crafting.

Created by our Master Blender, this rum was laid down in oak barrels for at least eight years producing a smooth and characterful blend that is perfect for sipping or for use in craft cocktails.

Light to medium-bodied nose with hints of tobacco mixed with caramel toffee. Faint aroma of dried stone fruits and flamb?e banana. Soft and faintly sweet mouthfeel with traces of oak and butterscotch. Distinctly smooth.
