A big, bold porter with a touch of smoke, this cold fermented beer is a unique take on a Baltic porter. As a nod to our old friend Big Smoke Porter, we've used traditional beech smoked malt and the pleasant smoke character infuses perfectly with the roasty coffee notes. Despite the robust ABV, this beer is super smooth thanks to the cold fermentation with lager yeast and extended cold conditioning.

This year marks 15 years of crafting delicious 8 Wired beers in Aotearoa. To celebrate, we?re releasing a series of special 15th-birthday beers, each a twist on some of our original brews. Here we?re stoked to share with you the 2nd release in this birthday bash.
S?ren has always wanted to brew an imperial coffee stout, so for 8 Wired?s 15th birthday, he finally got around to making one! We?ve taken the base recipe for the iconic iStout, and cranked the ABV right up. Using an intense, rich, espresso blend from our friends at Rush, this is a truly one mighty coffee experience!

To be in a position where no matter what happens, no matter how the cards fall in the future, you have no chance of winning. But even if the situation is that bleak, you can always enjoy this nice, hoppy Texas-style Brown Ale. Sweet, roasty maltiness balanced by citrusy hops and subtle esters from the fermentation will put a positive spin on any rainy day.

To create this culinary delight, we've curated a complex malt bill, with plenty of chocolate and roasted malts. A hoppy, malty and characterful Texas Style Brown Ale. A little rough around the edges and brewed in homage to classic western movies that relished in the perfectness of imperfection.

A classic oatmeal stout dry hopped to fuck with the finest US grown Amarillo. Big Orange-citrus hop character, robust bitterness, classic coffee and cocoa.

Blackshore is a smooth, easy-drinking stout, named after the black-tarred fishing huts that line Southwold's harbour. They are individual, characterful and made of sturdy stuff. It is brewed with a hefty mash bill for a rich, broad malt character. You?ll find Pale Ale, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, and Chocolate malts, alongside Roasted Barley and a hearty helping of oats. This adds a real depth of flavour, that the brewing team are particularly proud of, making it tremendously tasty, but mellow on the finish.
Alesmith - Speedway Stout?s ominous, pitch-black appearance has become a hallmark of this modern-day classic. Chocolate and roasted malts dominate the flavor, supported by notes of dark fruit, toffee, and caramel. A healthy dose of locally-roasted coffee added to each batch brings out the beer?s dark chocolate flavors and enhances its drinkability. Despite its intensity, Speedway Stout?s fine carbonation and creamy mouthfeel make it very smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. This beer ages very well and will continue to mature for many years to come.
