Scented with spices and honeyed plump fruits this is a syrupy dram, with lots of vanilla and fudge, with a whisper of smoke on the finish.
Nose: Creamy. Some sherried fruit with a trailing hint of smoke.
Palate: Sweet, malty, a gentle peat but nonetheless the mouthfeel is very clean.
Finish: Malt, a faint hint of citrus.
Hendrick?s is something of a household name. Perhaps you've heard of it? This terrific Scottish gin is made using two different stills - the Bennett stillsteeps its botanicals overnight before distillation, while the Carter-Head has its botanicals in a basket up in the still neck, steaming them gently. It features the likes of juniper, cubeb berries, elderflower, chamomile, angelica, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander, yarrow and orris, alongside an infusion of cucumber and rose petal. If you're making a G&T with this, it just has to be garnished with a ribbon of cucumber.
Nose: Big, creamy aromas right off the bat, with a little zesty citrus, juniper, rose petal jelly and cucumber.
Palate: Astoundingly fresh notes of cucumber with juniper, oak, a touch more citrus and vanilla. Creamy and savoury.
Finish: A long, refreshing, floral finish.
Picked after the first frosts, the wild sloes from the sloe trees growing on all limestone plateaux are macerated whole in gin previously distilled by Gabriel Boudier. All the aromas and the colour of the flesh and stone of the sloe dissolve in the gin. After maceration, a carefully controlled amount of sugar is added to obtain this traditional liqueur, whose origin dates back to British household traditions.Source: boudier.com
Citadelle Gin has a delicate and fragrant nose of fresh flowers, jasmine, honeysuckle and cinnamon. After a few moments, stronger, more herbaceous aromas of anise, grains of paradise and cinnamon develop in a most remarkable way. The appetizing bouquet is reminiscent of gardens in springtime. On the palate, juniper gives way to a voluptuous complexity redolent of fresh flowers, leading into an elegant, round and highly refined finish. The 19 botanicals are infused for 72 hours, three days in which the Citadelle body is shaped and takes all its aromatic notes. For 12 hours, Citadelle is distilled in a copper pot still with a naked flame. Check out their great website for more info.
Cadrona - THE SOURCE Rosehip Gin is forged by the four seasons that blow through the Cardrona Valley, Southern Alps, New Zealand. A natural matrix of locally foraged rosehip, together with traditional juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, lemon and orange zest, vapour-distilled into our Single Malt Spirit. We refuse to chill-filter to deliver you full flavour and character. Because THE SOURCE is non-chill-filtered, you will notice the spirit clouds with dilution or when cold - a mark of distinction for this very rare and special drop.
Created by Jim McEwan from whisky matured in a multitude of different American oak casks, and chosen to represent the classic, unpeated distillery style. Bruichladdich's new signature bottling is made with 100% Scottish barley.
Nose: Elegantly sweet with honeyed barley, boiled sweets and orange petals. Wafts of sea air and a splash of sulphur.
Palate: Red apples and white grapes, with touches of sweet cinnamon and brown sugar. Still softly coastal.
Finish: Mineral-rich malt, with toffee and more honey.
Double Gold and Best in Show at the World Spirits Competition 2008, this stuff makes grown men and women behave quite irrationally. Served with champagne or dark rum and lime juice this liqueur is heaven in a bottle. The only limits are your imagination. And if that fails, here's one to get you started: Ginger Cosmo 1 PART CANTON LIQUEUR, 1.5 PARTS VODKA 0.25 PART TRIPLE SEC, 2 PARTS CRANBERRY JUICE. Shake and serve up. Garnish with raspberries. Serve in a chilled martini glass. courtesy - domainedecanton.com

*Much like a fine wine we recommend storing her in a cool dark place. It is a natural product and is sensitive to direct sunlight. We recommend storing Blush in a darker place in the store*
