The new Grande Sauvignon is a subtle and delicious style departure from classic Marlborough Sauvignon. This wine has a portion of whole bunch ferment, full wild yeast fermentation in older oak barrels and puncheons and 100% malolactic to soften and add depth to the wine.
Creamy smooth with layers of tropical fruit aromas and a softness and textural mouth weight all make this superlative Sauvignon a special wine for sipping contemplatively or for your next delicious roast chicken with all the trimmings.
It's made from grapes grown in Renwick, Waihopai, Rapaura and other vineyards in Marlborough's great southern valleys.
