Hendrick's Midsummer Solstice Gin is a small batch, limited edition from Hendrick's Gin. Like a holiday romance or the lifespan of the mayfly, Midsummer Solstice is a poetic expression of temporality…once it's gone, it's gone forever.

Using a secret selection of flowers, Hendrick’s have created a gin with an intensely floral bouquet that blossoms on the palate. The nose has notes of juniper mingling with delicate floral aromas, orange blossoms and zesty lemon notes. The palate offers notes of summer flowers that complement the classic juniper, spice and rose petal notes of Hendrick’s gin.

Midsummer Salty Dog Cocktail

Ingredients

• 1 parts HENDRICK’S Midsummer Solstice
• 5 parts Red Grapefruit Juice
• 1 Grapefruit slice

Method

• Salt the rim (optional) of a highball glass
• Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice.
• Lightly stir and serve.
• Garnish with a thin wedge of pink grapefruit
