Els Vinyerons, is a partnership between Amôs Bañeres, winemaker, and Alex Ruiz, owner of a larger, organic estate growing mostly Xarel-lo and small amounts of Tempranillo and Grenache. Lluerna translates to 'firefly'
Vines planted between 1968 and 1998. Hand-picked grapes. Gently pressed direct to stainless steel for fermentation using natural yeasts, 10 days on skins. Six months untouched before racking by gravity and bottling. 90% of the grapes comes from the 2019 harvest and 10% comes from the 2018 harvest. The wine is aged for a year in 300L old French oak barrels. No added sulphites.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday 18th December at 5 am for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and the Tuesday19th December at 10am for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December.
Unfortunately Regional Wines cannot take responsibility for the breakage of delivered glassware items.
