The fruit for this wine is picked from parcels of around 60-100 years of age, where up to 13 different varieties grow together and the yields are very low - arounds 15-20 hectoliters/hectare.
The Boisrenard undergoes lengthy vatting and is aged in an entirely traditional way spending 18 months ageing in oak barrels. No filtration or fining is used, and bottling is followed by a spell of rest in underground cellars.
